Mr Burton is a Trust Business Manager who oversees both Hallbrook and Cosby Primary School. He is a member of both schools' Senior Leadership teams. 

Mr Burton has a wealth of knowledge of operational matters and in 2024 became a Fellow of the Institute of School Business Leadership in recognition of his contribution and valued service to the profession. He also holds membership of the Chartered Institute for Professional Development (CIPD), the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH), and the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Mr Burton is qualified in Leadership and Management, Human Resources, Health and Safety, Professional Clerking and as an Advanced Strategic Education Business Leader.
