OFSTED Report
Dear Parents,
We are pleased to finally be able to enclose a copy of the report from our recent Ofsted inspection. The report has been delayed at Ofsted due to the election and subsequent Christmas break.
The inspector judged that Hallbrook Primary School continues to be a good school and we are delighted that he recognised the many positive aspects of the school, including the teaching and learning of maths and reading, as well as the behaviour and safety of the children.
As always, there are areas to improve, and the inspector confirmed that we are already working on the correct areas within the school: particularly the development of the curriculum beyond Maths and English and the role of the subject leaders. Please be assured that we will be continuing to work hard on these areas and we will update parents on our curriculum development work as soon as it is complete.
The inspector also recognised that the school needs to have a permanent leadership structure in place as quickly as possible. You will be aware from the December update that this is something that Success Academy Trust and the Governing Body are working on as an urgent priority.
As you read the report, we hope that you recognise the very positive picture that it describes and that you will join with us to celebrate the hard work of the staff and children and the many successes it portrays. We look forward to continuing to work with you to see the school and our children go from strength to strength!
Yours
Ms. B. Edwards Mrs T. Withers
